Ainsley: Fall 2013

Ainsley is a collection of limited edition pieces centered on modern design and sustainability, rather than a reflection on current trends. Ainsley is always seeing the new while retaining a respect for the past.

This season Ainsley has reinterpreted classic styles in an original way. The brand’s modern take on the raincoat includes laser cut polka dot patterns, contrasting paneling and a zippered hood. Tuxedo blazers are updated with brocade fabrics and chain button closures, while pencil skirt silhouettes are modernized with peplum ruffles in gingham prints.

Each season, the brand embraces innovative, experimental designs that continue to excite and impress. The collection was modeled by Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty and styles were featured in Women’s Wear Daily in February 2013. The line will be carried in specialty boutiques and department stores such as Ron Herman, Shopbop’s original flagship store BOP and AinsleyNY.com come fall.
